The new BMOC at DSP is Jordan McOwen. Not only is he a great shooter and fantastic guy to work with, he also happens to be an artist with the saw. Some of you guys got to hang with Jordan at PartnerCon and know first hand how super this guy is. So stoked you're on the team Jordan!

Drew working it ...

Drew decided to put off going to bed so he could get in the game. He's such a little stud and a great helper.

I on the other hand was useless just wandering around taking pictures :-).

Work to do :-)

I tried to find the most awful picture I could muster to show you the "before" look. I think you'll be impressed with where it's headed.

I'm so sorry I've been out of the loop recently. Between shooting and working out some cool new moves for DSP (more to come on that later :-)), we are finally able to announce our move downtown!

We're in the process of building out our space in the upstairs loft of Bogart's in beautiful La Arcada, just a block off State St. in Santa Barbara. We are so excited.

If you get a second, come on in and check out the action in person!!

Sylvia ...

I had the privilege of shooting Josh and Sylvia's wedding this weekend and it was amazing.

This particular moment was SO fun ... as Sylvia's sister was bussling her gorgeous dress, the sunlight diffused beautifully right through it. I was just lucky to be there to catch the magic.

I've known Janee a while now and have been privileged to have gotten a glimpse into her passions, drives and affections. When I noticed her looking through the window as the sun set on her wedding day, I was so grateful for who she's become. Congratulations my friend and thank you for letting me play a small part in your day.

Legacy

When we were heading away from the shores of Hayden Lake to take some formal pictures in the wooded country club estate, I just happened to glance back at the caravan of Nee and Gibs nearest and dearest friends and family. It seemed to go on for days. What a legacy ...

Along with the Andre's, the Tesh family were just wonderful hosts. I was struck in this moment by how their own affection within their marriage was now being passed on to Gib and Janee. What a privilege it is to be a witness to these moments.

It's done.

In the Jewish tradition, when a couple is wed it is customary to break the glass that held the wine that the new couple share during the ceremony. With an assertive heal, Gib made it official. It was done.

When things settled down and Nee came out into the light, everyone was spellbound ... Gib especially. What a gorgeous bride!

Good tears

When Janee let loose, there were no dry eyes in the room (including my own). What a magical moment to witness.

Everything was perfect ...

Everything was perfect. Despite predictions that Janee's girls might have a hard time holding back the tears, no one had really lost it yet. We were maybe 20 minutes before the ceremony began and for some reason only a few of us noticed the door. As we listened to Janee share how she was so grateful that she hadn't cried yet and that she thought she was going to make it through the day sans crying, everyone gasped as if to say "Good luck with that Janee".

There were Mom and Dad ... standing ... watching ... remembering ... gazing at their sweet little girl.

As a father of girls, I suspected the time for tears was about to present itself :-) ...

I know Montana is known for its big skies but I think Idaho's in contention for the title too. I was up shooting Janee and Gib's wedding at Hayden Lake and was blown away by what I witnessed.
