When I came across this image of my stretched shadow, I couldn't resist giving the Mike Colon shout out. I also couldn't resist posting it. Sometimes I just crack myself up ;-).

Pimping my ride

I've received a lot of questions lately about the mobile office in my SUV. I thought a picture would help explain a bit of how it looks.

I had a chance to use it at my last few weddings and it's been a huge success. It's so nice to have a controlled air conditioned editing bay that doesn't get in the way of my client's great day but still allows me the chance to create some things for them that they can enjoy immediately.

When the door opened on the Holland's magnificent home and the light pored in against the marble staircase and Susie's beautiful dress, it caused me to pause. Thankfully, I had the sense of mind to still hit the shutter. Sometimes, you just get lucky :-).

It's odd. Sometimes you see a little flower girl and you sigh and look away. Morgan and I, on the other hand, just plain bonded. Not only was she just a cutie, but she was a cutie with a heart. After hearing that my own daughter was her age, she made it a point to find me at the reception and gave me a little present to give to her. So sweet!

This was definitely the first Muslim/Pakistani/Christian/Latina wedding I've ever participated in. Talk about rich with culture ... and color!
